The bookshop of the Prague House of Photography offers mainly specialised publications, and also publications complementing exhibitions produced by the House and also exhibitions organised by other cultural institutions, catalogues and monographies, specialised and information periodicals, guides, conference proceedings, specialised publications on photography and visual arts: theory of art and methodology, philosophy of art, museology, art technologies, restoring, art and museum pedagogy etc.
The main aim of the Prague House of Photography bookshop is to make it possible for the general public to access information about history and theory of the medium of photography, about contemporary happening in the field of photography and at the same time to present other – especially related – fields of visual arts.
